Mgt explains delay in June salary…salutes staff and students on Eid-El-Fitr

The Management has apologised for the delay in salary payment for the month of June 2016, attributing the development to breakdown of government payment platform – GIFMIS.

GIFMIS Management in a memo to the Rector, Dr. Margaret Kudirat Ladipo, dated July 1 2016 and titled, “Notice Potential GIFMIS Access Interruptions,” informed all organizations serviced by the platforms.

“Further to our earlier mail, this is to remind you that there will be routine maintenance activities over the weekend that might lead to challenges in accessing GIFMIS beginning Friday 1st of July 2016 through the weekend.

“While this is being done to ensure better system performance, kindly accept our apologies for any inconveniences that may be experienced – Management.”

The Rector, pleads staff kindly exercise patience as they wait the payment of the salary saying this is part of the teething problems associated with systems generally.

Meanwhile, the Rector has congratulated the Muslim community in the College for the successful completion of Ramadan fasting and the consecration associated with the period.

She reminded them to imbibe all the teachings received during the period and put them to practise, such that they could be better persons in their services to the Almighty Allah and in their commitment to human development.

Dr. Ladipo prayed that the peace associated with the Eid el Fitr celebration may spread through the remainder of the year and envelopes the College community in day to day relations.
